So I always wanted to draw Kaseem with his baby girl, Nayeli, for the longest. I never got around to it until today.
I can finally scratch this off my things to do list!
For Kaseem, having a child wasn’t anything he foresaw in his future. Within his homeland, it would had been forbidden for a bastard child, like himself, to further the line. Kaseem was expected to just live and die alone.
Having broken away from his home, Kaseem is now free to do as he pleased. However creating a family was just something ingrained in his mind that was not meant for him. Nayeli, although not planned, reminded him that he was free of his somewhat oppressive traditions. For him his little girl represented his love he had acquired, freedom from his harsh traditions and possibilities for his future.
Kaseem having been chosen as the Destruction god never thought that he could create anything good or create at all. He had always felt he was cursed ever since he was born but slowly he’s coming to realize the blessings he has acquired in life.
